I always thought this was an interesting find... The Monticello a bush on the side from a die crack.

Yes indeed... Error searching is amazing. A tree it is, thanks for the response (Buddy), I have so many error coins and really don't know where to begin.

Very nice crack. And just a tip. A die crack is a die variety, not an error

I guess I'm more of a fresh die purist.

The look when the die is fresh. Strong design lines. Clear division between devices and fields. Fresh RPMs. I'm not into die chips, cracks, breaks, over polishing removing devices. I don't get interested in catch names of used to sell inferior coins. Die breakdown to me is like looking at a junk yard of used/wrecked/abused cars. So I seldom post on some subjects. Just not my cup of tea. I prefer to help collector realize what happened to their coins/die that struck their coins. And though I can't afford to buy the coins I desire most, I delight to see them when they are posted. I know not all feel that way, that is just what I feel on coins.

A neat looking Chip Mickie. Looks more like a tree to me. I have one just like it. There are collectors of All types of varieties and errors. Names are given to them for identification and cataloging purposes. Purist collectors may consider your coin inferior, but most of us consider it a very nice Die Chip. I think we have the advantage over the purists, because we collect the same Doubled Dies and RPM;s etc. as they do, but we also enjoy a nice Beehive, Cracked Skull, Spiked Head, Prisoner Cent, etc.
