This is a 1976 Kennedy half dollar Proof. The mint mark looks solid to me. Is this normal or considered an error?

On many JFK proofs the S will look just like this. They are this way on other coins also.

Looks like the normal mint mark for the proof and clad halves.

It looks a lot like the same punch used on the type one Proof 1979-S coins.
