We need good, clear, full photographs, with magnified shots of any damage you think is an error.

Unfortunately 99% of the time it turns out to be PSD. But hey, there are good finds made every day too.

Don't think I seen this coin yet, cause if I had, I would have held on to it. 45% silver this year for US Nickel's.

Look forward to seeing images when you get around to it. Seen lots of oddities on war time nickels. Thanks, Doug.

Can you post a larger image and a little lighter? you can use the CCF Free Image Optimizer to crop out the blank area surrounding the coin. That will allow the actual coin to show larger.

Oh...plot twist.

It is therefore chromed steel, not silver, but closer pics are needed to see the "19" area in the date. I see something but it's too pixelated when I zoom in and not the focal point.

It's a dollop of something, not an error, it's damage.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Looks like a drop of solder. Maybe it was laying on somebody's workbench a long time ago. In case you didn't know, the dots around the rim are Morse Code. (I always liked that about these nickels...)
