What do you guys think? The weight and size check out but is it a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania strike or not? Would appreciate the help. *** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING. All capital letters is the internet version of yelling. Please don't do it in titles or posts. ***

to CCF! Unfortunately, I think your coin is a counterfeit. The whole coin has an "off" look to it.

From those pictures? No.
NOT a proof strike. Only proof Morgans outside of the mint in 1895.
More than likely an O or S with the mintmark removed.
Google will be your friend to find the diagnostics for this date of proof Morgan.

The strike does not appear to be that of a proof coin. One of the die markers used for the 1895 is the position of the date and the date position on your coin looks close. There are a number of die scratches on both the obverse and reverse to identify the coin that would need to be viewed under magnification. Some of 1895 proof coins did get out into circulation. From photo I do not see any evidence that the mint mark was removed. If it was my coin, I would check out he die markers that are on a genuine 1895.

The "5" in the date looks out of proportion to the rest of the numbers in the date. The overall look of the coin is "off", too.
You got yourself a genuine Chinese counterfeit in my opinion!

Did Santa bring you this, or did you get it elsewhere? If elsewhere, tell us where - that may prove a factor on whether it is genuine or not. Don't say "coin roll hunting" *smile*.
EDIT - I notice you used this file name:
20161223_1895-p-morgan-face-bought-for-_300-_2_.jpg
Does this mean you paid $300 for it?

Look at the marks on the nose in front of the eye as the marks are in the same place.

Send it back, if you can. If its from ebay use buyers protection if seller gives you any problems.

Does it stick to a magnet? If it does, it's fake.
