So I'm just looking for your opinions. I know it's all subjective or what I like but I want your opinion.

I'm working on completing a #8140 Dansco Album for Washington quarters 1932-1998 w/ Proof. I'm completing the album with all AU or better coins. The proofs start at 1968.

I have what I believe is a 59 type-B in mint state.

Question: Would you put the type-B in the album? I'm thinking of labeling below the coin "Type-B Rev"

Your thoughts? Thanks.[/i][/i]

I am putting together a 7140 but added pages for proofs. I am ridiculous and left holes in the added pages for the early proofs as well as the SMS. The way I organized it left me ten holes on the last page into which I plan to have B-types and other oddities if I find them. As you say, do whatever you like, it's your album.
Rest in Peace

I always include the coins I like, regardless of what the album tells me I "have" to do.

That's a thought Pinenut, I could just add a blank page. Thanks!

On a side note. I'm new here. How do I add my own avatar picture?
Rest in Peace

Just under the banner ads at the top of the page, select "Tools".

On that page select "Manage Your Profile"/

On that page, look for "Avatar Selection". Just above that is a yellow bar that you can select to get started on submitting your own avatar.

I plan on putting mine in with my Washingtons. These are great types you don't need a microscope to see, so I like them.

UPDATE:

So I have my Washington quarter 32-98 Dansco complete with all MS61's or better. I broke them out of their slabs and started filling holes. With the exception of two, the 32-D and 36-D.

Just to clarify, I don't have a 32-D or 36-D yet.

Nice! I'm working on the same set, and I decided to go back as far as I can with proofs. So far, I've gotten as far as '52 with the proofs. I'm also thinking about adding a page for the type B's as well, and any other oddities I may find.

We'd love to see pics of your set!

Beefer518, Great! Just the person I was looking for. Maybe we can compare notes. I'm still working my way through and learning this forum. I'm still trying to add an Avatar and get e-mails when forks reply to my posts. I'd love to post pictures as well and I will. I just need to learn and get these basics down first. Thanks!

Thanks jbuck! Over the past five or six months I've been slowly beating the bushes and taking my time researching on where to locate and acquire these two guys without getting totally ripped off! I've been comparing grades and prices over the past several months. ebay, PCGS/NGC prices, Gray Sheet, Heritage, coin shows, etc.. I'm I missing anything? Any suggestions?
