so I bid on the bad photos, seeing what I thought was a 1947 maple leaf coin, in the top left coin..i won the auction for 51$ with free shipping..i figured for 51$ the maple leaf would pay for the auction and the other 2 1947's would be 30$ profit.. well the bottom coin was also a 1947 maple leaf.. so I got 2 1947 maple leaf's, and 1 regular 1947 for 51$.. not bad at all..

the auction was listed as 3 1947 canada coins, no mention of maple leafs on any of them, but another bidder must have spotted the maple leaf on the first one, because it was bid up pretty quick at the end.. happy. happy..for me..
Rest in Peace

I had to do some research to learn about the variety. It's not easy to see in the pics -- so I guess it pays to squint!

Well done.

Enjoy!

By the way, they're gorgeous.

Good for you for finding that. I have a '48 Fifty cent piece but still searching for a graded 1947 ML. Nice find for you.
