Did you ever forget you had some not so common coins, or even common coins. I was going through some nickels and refound a couple that slipped my mind.

I "Rediscover" coins All the time
It all stems from the disarray my collections are in and my forgetful nature

Nice EWL 64 looks like it circulated quite a bit I could never ever find one in circulation, had to buy one

And yes, find coins a lot that I have stashed away and 'almost' forget.

When you get to a certain age, you rediscover things all the time.

I was putting together a set of nice Roosevelt dimes. I wanted them toned, but ocassionally I ended up buying some really nice white ones. Once I decided to put the white ones in a Wayte Raymond dime holder page and put them in a box on a shelf to see if they would develop a little color in a year or two so they'd fit into the collection. Ooops. That was 1987. I found them last year and some of them have the most amazing rainbow toning. Colors, concentric target toning, a couple ended up going too far and are a lustrous black. I wish I had bought some really nice more rare dimes to do this with as I probably could have made a lot of money. Unfortunately I do not have another 20 years to try it again.
