1572 early days of the Dutch Republic counterstrike of ZEELAND Delm 141C R2 the host coin is a 1558 Philipsdaalder (taler size) minted in Bruges, Duchy of Flanders ex Huntington collection these counterstrikes (taxes to pay for the war effort of the rebels) are much more common with the Holland variants than this variant issued in Zeeland.

Here is our 9th entrant for 1572: 1 Groschen from the German Duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. In addition to being in Krause, it can be attributed as Saurma 3686.

Here is a 1/84 Gulden from the German Free City of Nürnberg that is dated 1571 AD. Similar to Saurma 1158.
