Quote: Many of these have Nicks and dings from being previously used by a Hoodoo practitioner. Yup, that seems like the most likely explanation.

Is it crazy to say that I can actually appreciate the unique marketing strategy here? There is a fringe element out there to whom this description may appeal to. She put a lot of time into writing it. But still

It's kind of interesting. Just Google " Indian Head cent hoodoo." She definitely did not make it up. Although, it's not something I would pay $5 for, plus I already have some.

Only has feedback on 14 sales though, most of that feedback score is her buying other things.

Might the seller have better luck marketing these voodoo cents if they, too, were "certified?" Consider the thought that went into her disclaimer statement: Quote: I cannot guarantee any outcome for good or ill with the use of my products. Since I am not in control of how the buyer uses them, I cannot be held accountable for the end result. Only that they are made with a " Traditional Formula", with full intent on my part.

Well, if he wanted to attract our attention, he did. My wife always complains about certain ads or commercials, and I always explain to her, if we're talking about it, it did it's job.

(with the law part) I think superstitious nonsense is ludicrous, but I would never want to see a law against it. I think the first amendment makes that quite clear.

If this thread is considered "bashing" then our society really has a problem that is far greater than any perceived negative comments on this thread - and I do think this country has gone overboard on political correct speech. I am still trying to find the offensive comments. This forum (classy and very polite compared to others) has often made fun of ebay sellers and their "marketing" ploys many times. Credit to this seller for looking at selling these coins in a unique way, however it is still funny. Nothing wrong with finding the humor in something. No laws needed against a belief system or against people being "creative" on ebay (which I took the OP comment about a law to be a tongue in cheek comment by the OP vs outlawing a belief system).
