I'm guessing VF. I'd like to get a VF35 from it. What does everybody else think?

It'll probably head out to PCGS sometime this week.

Thanks in advance,
Rest in Peace

I'm really torn between a 30 and 35. Technically, just by wear, probably a 30. But that lovely even Brown color has me hoping for a 35 too.

To me, it's a 30 at best, closer to 25 (cheek almost flat), but very attractive. Die Pair #3.

Yeah It's a toss up between VF-30 & 35 . Can use a nice little application of Verdi-care in my opinion , maybe Acetone first, get rid of some of that nasty crud surrounding coin and letters .

VF-30, but a very attractive coin for the grade.

Use NCS, then it will get a VF 30 probably and the crud will be gone.

Wow Scotty! NICE COIN! I would not attempt any type of conservation on this coin. I like it just how it is.

Very nice coin - I would happy to have that one in my collection... I like the clean rims and surface eye appeal. Good find.

I always like to see the king of cents presented here. this is probably the most talked about coin that I can remember growing up as a coin that everyone wished they had in their collection. I have it at VF30 also. no major issues to detract. I love it!
