Purchased a couple of slabbed coins. Your thoughts on grade and problems appreciated like always. TPG grade and price paid in 48 hours. Many thanks! I think I've seen this coin before. I remember the spots on her cheek. I would say au-50 but I'm not a fan of these types of photos. Was this an auction acquisition?

I'd say AU-53, I don't think cleaned, just harsh lighting.

i see this at AU53 and although I would like to say it was not ever cleaned the chances are pretty low. considering that I really like it with the luster peaking out all over.

I paid $220 delivered which is in line with prices paid for XF45 graded coins of this date according to auction records from multiple sources. Pretty happy that it might be undergraded.

I would have said AU-50. Nice hair detail.

The obverse likely held it back since the reverse looks like a solid AU-50. Pretty strong star detail compared to most CBHs. Nice!

If you're gonna get it reslabbed maybe an acetone soak would remove that black gunk? Great coin either way
