yes, clearer pictures would help a lot. Looks like a slight off-center strike may have caused the edge defect beside the Liberty on the obverse

If images are not skewed and playing tricks on me and my ruler, seems to be out of round. Maybe a collar issue or again just the image(s). Check along the edge for any indicators if it is oblong in hand. Thanks, Doug.

Looks like to me there was an issue with a tilted die and it made a fin on the outside edge of the 8:00-10:00 area. The fin has flattened and now looks like something going on with the rim. But because it is flattened it is now a spendable coin. If the fin was still showing then it would have been more interesting.

This is now flattened on your coin removing a premium for this.
