F-15
The obverse has VF-20, The reverse has F-12 and perhaps "scratched" is on the label.
Maybe it got F-15 which would be fair.

f15. For some strange reason that coin has very attractive eye appeal to me.

Old cleaning, but very attractive now. I'd say F-15 straight grade.

I'm with Paralyse on the correct calling of the grade but I think PCGS will straight grade this as a no details coin at F12. Seems the older bust coinage is given a pass on old cleanings, heck 95%+ probably have been cleaned at one point.

The obverse looks like a VF-20, but the reverse drags it down to Fine. This is one of those unusual 1806 half dollars that has strong hair detail. Most of them are shallow stikes. Had it not be for the strong strike on the obverse, this coin might well grade VG today.

Ok guys here it is....I would have tended to agree with F15 myself. So this is very interesting PCGS gave it this grade. I guess they are very forgiving of a coin this old. Your thoughts? Thanks again!
