Yet, they still don't recognize the major obverse types...

They seemingly have no interest in doing the obverses, for fear of getting them wrong and paying on their guarantee policy. I offered both directly to their president, and also through a dealer they respect, to loan them my set to photograph for their graders to use as a reference set. At the time, I lived five miles from their offices. Still no interest.

That's unfortunate and means we wont be seeing any 1884 Obverse 1s on this list.

But the 1881H Triple Punched N is the newest addition, so I guess that's progress

Sad state of affairs after you making that extra effort,..plus your background with so many top tier PCGS graded coins. It's not like they don't know where you're coming from with all of the research previously presented to them in your books.

Why the 1884 Obv 1 isn't there is "mind boggling"..?..as just one important example.

Maybe you're going to have to go to "the Donald"..?..to get things straightened out....

I find PCGS' customer service and response times on questions atrocious and in many cases non existent. It's an area that needs significant work within PCGS.

I agree with what you are saying coinhunter about that its like prying teeth to get past the front line (reception) phone line and they only answer yes or no questions and no experience or very little with the question you have asked they just leave you hanging.

And no 1882 2/1's noted .. even just 1 of the three types? And I have no idea what the '98 reeded edge is. And why on earth do they still have the 1896 "far 6" noted .. how wide and up is their "far 6"?
