Yea, its 40% silver (65-70) before is 90% silver. That means there's about the same weight of silver in that Kennedy as in a 1964 and earlier quarter, figure @ $3.50 or so, may only get $3. Way it works. Most usually get a bunch and sell, by 10 or 20 pieces at a time.

That 4th picture down had me gawk and balk for a second, I thought you had a clipped half there for a second. I like the silver clad halves personally. They are the Rodney Dangerfields of modern coins. They don't get any respect. I just wonder how many actually got melted down?

You should be happy with that find. Many years ago I CRHed halfs and only found 2 1965 and not in as nice of a condition as yours. Not much more value above melt but a great find. John1

Quote: That 4th picture down had me gawk and balk for a second, I thought you had a clipped half there for a second. That was my exact reaction! I had to scroll up to check how I'd missed that ... So, as others have said, it's value is in the silver it contains because it is circulated. You might want to hold onto it and look for other 1965-70 halves to sell as a lot (as Crazyb0 said) or for fun, to get a set of the twelve P&D issues.
