I did quite a bit of CRH a few years ago and got pretty far on a set of Jefferson nickels. Over the years I've done upgrades (mostly from mint sets). Unfortunately the book I bought requires the clad S mints, so I think that's going to be my biggest challenge. Believe it or not, I actually found the 50-D while CRH! Here is what I'm missing..

1938-D
1938-S
1939-D
1939-S
1946-S
1971-S to 2003-S (again there is a lot here so this will be my biggest challenge)
2015-D
2016-P+D

What is my cheapest way to obtain these? Jefferson's aren't in my top coins so I don't want to spend a lot on this but I would love to complete the set. Circulated condition is fine. Would it be better to try and purchase these individually or would shipping kill the deal? The other option might be to buy another full collection and piece it out, but that feels like a waste since I already have so many of them. I feel like I can find the 2015 and 2016's in circulated pretty easy but the earlier dates and the S mints are much tougher. Thanks!

I am thinking ...
Post your list in the wanting to buy section of CCF ..

See if a few member might be able to complete your list at a fair price.

The fewer the members .. the better savings on shipping.

List the the grades you are wanting

You can buy the clad S nickels in runs from an ebay seller named davenders (I'm sure there are other sellers that do this as well but I've always had good luck with this one). For instance...
