The pic is rather blurry but I don't think it's an error coin. I'd have to see the whole coin to know for sure, but I suspect it's the result of a worn die.

I do what could be interpreted as a dog, but if you could upload the actual image, and not a picture of your computer screen, it might help.

You need to zoom out to find anything recognized as an error coin.

I wrote this once before. You can take any metallic surface that has been milled, pressed, stamped, etched, at high mag you will see all kinds of ghosts, demons, imagined images that are the result of minute differences of alloys, lighting (shadows), the natural peak/valley of surface. Sometimes on image like yours can become obscene just by moving the light source, makes the "images move"...

Anything greater than 35-55X will give more information than needed to identify a true error coin. Stick with 30x for common error DDO.DDR.RPM!

I was searching once and found a unhappy face on the statue.

It only shows with the light from the top. Just as mentioned, metal distortion and a lot of imagination.

Glad to see you back Coop. It makes Unhappy Lincoln look like he gained some weight too.

That comment reminded me of an 'old Abe' image I made a few years back:

That looks like a "dishonest Abe" cent.
