There are a number of alternatives, such as:

2x2's (stapled or self-adhesive)
Air-tites (with or without rings)
Eagle Mounts
Non-Plasticised (mylar) Coin Flips

And you can purchase them from coin stores online, such as:

I use 2x2's for my lower value items and Airtites or Whitman Plastic holders for the nice items.

There are now pages which go in binders which you can put coins in Airtites in if you want to keep your items in a book/binder for display, so how you want to store is a also question of how you want to display your collection.

Welcome to the forum!

Ok I think 2x2's will do, are they like plastic slides which are 2x2?

Ohhhh polystyrene. But I need them to fit Australian coins, but I will find something.

Spedward, 2x2's are just cardboard with a hole in the middle covered by plastic. You put the coin on the plastic, fold the thing in half and either staple it or if it is a self adhesive one, stick it.

They are made for all size coins, where in America they may be called penny 2x2's etc after the type of coin, in Oz they are sold by the size of the hole. Your local coin dealer will point you in the right direction, or go to the coin section of e-bay or Oztion and look under the accessories and publications section.

Ok thanks. Umm I'll probably buy off ebay or something. At the moment they are in plastic slides in a folder which are made for collecting cards, lol. And in different boxes.
