I've given more away to my nephews and grandsons than I've kept for myself. I have 7 Morgan dollars including the 1884 dated coin given to me by my great-grandmother.

Never enough, and if I answer your question even thieves will know...be careful what you say....! Think just how many ways there are to find out who you are and where you live and what kind of target you are. Call me paranoid, I call it wisdom learned from experience, 65+ and counting. Had an "Attempted" robbery once on a "Craigslist" deal, fellow decided to leave with family jewels intact and not removed by .38cal 125gr JHP firmly employed under table. You don't want to come over and find out intimately about my new "Hand-held, wireless device(s) now, do you? There are reasons certain personal references are NOT allowed on the forum, admitting how large your stash is, just determines how large a truck and crew is needed to remove your safe, well, if you at least have one...

I have four: 1883, 1900-O, and 2x 1921 (one is AU and sits in my 7070; the other more worn one was my first Morgan).

Trip9fine, guess that's why you're still trying to complete that 7070...

I think I have 22 Morgans.
A couple are from my father's collection, two were mine when I was a kid and the rest have been purchased in recent years.

I have about 50 (all collected more than 55 years ago when you could get them for $1). I don't keep any valuables where I live, so thieves would be wasting their time to discover my address. If they want to come visit me with ill intentions, they had better say their final goodbyes to their loved ones before they depart for my residence.

My uncle was a FBI agent in Reno back about 1965. He sent us boys five Morgans each and said don't spend them. I still have mine.

I have three with the option on one more (a DMPL). That's all I need.
