1922 Nickel, Grade? And Is It A Far Rim?

Talonbat Valued Member Canada 395 Posts	Posted 07/16/2017 11:17 pm Definitely not uncirculated but much higher grade then it appears. A weak obverse strike for sure with lots of remaining luster. The reverse is a nice and sharp and is telling me AU but you really need to see these things in hand. A nice coin for one of the more difficult series of coins to grade. With this much remaining luster it can't go below VF-30 and I'm thinking AU. Report this Post to the Staff

Nikon Valued Member Canada 185 Posts	Posted 07/17/2017 4:58 pm OK after having a better look at this coin today in the daylight, I am putting it at au50 maybe 55. There is some small wear on the band of the crown, tip of the moustache and bow. other than that there is none worth noting. Still about 95% of luster left.
