I live across the bay from SF and have been collecting coins since 1972. I've seen a lot of changes over the years but my basic love remains the same. I'm not currently adding coins to my collection as I'm more interested in coin history. It is a field so rich in history yet too many get carried away with $ value. One of the favorites in my collection is a set of uncirculated Roosevelt dimes and some of them have the most beautiful toning. Looking to connect with other collectors in the area. |

I'm not from around your way but spent 3 months on a cruiseship sailing out from there. Fond memories... This forum is truely international though making the world a small place.
