There are free apps you could try first. This one I just took a few minutes ago.

All I did was crop away blank surroundings and reduce file size so it will post.

What will you be using to take the pictures?

There are a lot of attachments/accessories for different formats.

Reviewing the specs of the S7 Edge and my LG G3 (the only thing I use to take and post pics here), they both seem to be able to capture similar images. There are some pros and cons on both sides.

What has really helped me in certain circumstances is having a clip-on macro lens made for phones. I found one on clearance (less than $3) and have used it to create images like this:

Most pics I upload have been subjected to editing with one app if not multiple for different purposes. I find that the combination of implements works well enough (although leaving digital artifacts in the final images).

I use this and it is evolving as I go. Also a note is that I found if the pics are not turning out, try flipping the laser pointer lens over and trying again. The lenses are deliberately made non-unifom (the closeness to the curvature of the phone's camera lens is affected by which side of the laser lens is touching the camera).

The hardest part in taking the pics is finding something to prop your camera up on for proper distance to keep focus.

Also, you might find when you zoom the focus again is off. I keep pieces of paper handy to slide under the phone/camers setup until the results I get are what I want.

Take multiples of each pic, then load them onto your computer's larger screen to see which is best.

Eventually I want to tether the phone's screen to my iPad screen just b/c its easier to see. I also use a cheap bluetooth remote phone/camera shutter so I don't move the phone when taking the pic.
