The die flow lines make me think it's an old worn die.

Buddy, like the link and yes it looks like.DDD. I have a 1960-p nickel both sides have serious DDD.

2015 quarter is MD. The devices are incuse on the coin, slightest die movement makes the devices enlarged as they are raised on the die. (incuse on the coin)
