I recently visited my mom during and after surgery for about 5 days and a lot of the post-op time was spent in conversation. Since this is a new hobby of mine, I brought it up.

She mentioned some other family members who had some small collections and my brother, who had a small collection from childhood at the house. I borrowed what he had there so I could investigate further and see if I can apply my new-found knowledge to find anything special and either let him know what he has or offer to buy.
My mom had a few things there that she had held on to for some time. She generously asked if I wanted them. Ummm,
yes! She said they weren't doing her any good. So, this was my reward for "coming out":
5 clad Ikes she won in Vegas in 1978:

A double-dated gold-plated Kennedy (my birth year):

2 90% & 2 40% Kennedy's (top left w/ nice toning IMO):

BU
SBA, dateless SLQ & 3 nice Drummer Boys:

Merc & 4 silver Roosies:

Pile of Wheats, '26 & dateless Buffs:

Tokens, Canada & G.B.:

Italy & France:

Colombia & Spain:

These, of course, will be added to my collection. Maybe I'll put an asterisk or something on them for provenance.
