The obverse has the pillars of the Lincoln memorial above date, and on the reverse the top of the memorial building is not attached. Is this what I think it is.

The Memorial Pillars you see on the front is called a Die Clash. And the "Floating Roof" error is caused by an over polished die. :)

For some reason floating roofs on 1969-D's are fairly common, I found 2 just a week or so ago and another one last weekend.

They're called "prisoner" cents, the die clash. And no, that's not a "floating roof, both sides must be COMPLETELY polished off, even a hint doesn't cut it, I've found many, many 69D & 70D that are the allllllmmmooost, "missed it by that much" variety!
