Have a 1989 D Penny and the date seems different. The first "9" in 1989 is small and the second "9" is larger. Maybe this is something?

 It's going to be very difficult to help you without seeing what you're seeing, but as far as I'm aware, there are no small/large date varieties for 1989 cents.

I tried taking pics again and still hard to see the dates. I will have to get a camera. Or take it to a coin collection store

Unfortunately, 1968 D and S cents are not rare. Almost 3B of the Ds were minted. 258M of the S mint were minted.
Even poor pictures will help us with a general condition appraisal.

I was replying to the person collecting his Birth year Penny's... Their could be a possibility their could be other errors. Lol. But any other ones I find I will try and take a decent photo
