Great news Padwans! Thanks to Bobby there is now a section on CCF to download member PDFs! I have now completed the first section, Coin IDing for Dummies, Volume #1 covering what is the differences between a true hub doubled die coin and those with striking errors of MD (mechanical damage). This is a VERY easy read, meant for everyone, particularly the new person just entering the field of error coins, shown by comparative pictures and simple text. Written by an amateur, for amateurs, this is my journal of discovery for those wanting to get their feet wet. Volume #2 will be coming in about a month. This next volume will delve into the differences between true mint error coins and those that are not. Machine errors, environmental and circulation damages and even those man-made attempts of modern artwork! Maybe even Little Johnnie in his Garage will most definitely show up for a while! CHECK IT OUT!First listing! Coin IDing for Dummies Hot off the press! http://goccf.com/t/296596 Edited by Crazyb0 09/20/2017 1:18 pm

Sounds fun and informative. Maybe I need to describe technical grading, market grading, and TPG opinions. That drives me nuts when someone says a circulated coin should be lowered in grade because it has a tiny rim Nick. Bah!

crazy, the "coin IDing" title does not lead me to believe that it is about Machine Doubling. Or maybe I am not interpreting "IDing" correctly.
