Well yea, of course you do, what kind is it? Are the numerals the normal size or not?

Its an easy test, A or B, yes or no, MD or DD, think the former outweighs the latter don't you?

Not trying to be nasty, Centavo, think about what you see there, t really is simple when you study what true doubling really is and how they're made...why what I have below is free...

A microscope will not help you find something you don't know to look for. Read read and read some more. Start here http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/...Doubling.htm

1971-S doubled die:

On hub doubling the devices are larger in size than the normal devices. Note the differences on the images above.
On MD doubling the devices are reduced from die movement during the strike:

Note on Machine Doubling, the die is normal, the strike alters the created devices, leaving them flat/shelf like looking. Nothing is doubled, just altered. This varys from strike to strike and from location on the coin:

Note on the image I provided an image of how the Machine Doubling was not equal on all the devices even in that area?

Die Deterioration is usually found on the dies from the single squeeze method. The profile is lower (height of the bust and devices) so when the die wear happens it alters the field area in the direction of the rims.
1971-S-Lincoln-Cent--Double-Die-Obverse?
You see the wear in the direction towards the closest rim. Date toward the right, LIBERTY towards the left and the motto towards the rims upwards.

Die wear to me is more seen on the multi hubbed dies of the past. The die wear is different as these devices had a higher profile. The wear usually starts on the edge of the devices towards the rim:

Note on this example the edge of the devices near the rim is starting to break down and flow towards the rim.
As the die ages, the breakdown gets worse as the die wears:
1971-S-Lincoln-Cent--Double-Die-Obverse?
You can see on the first image, just the outer edge starts from a straight edge of the devices, to being rounded over a bit. This continues as the die ages and you start to see the real breakdown as the die reaches VLDS. This is a normal event that happens to aging dies. But the difference between the first example of this is the height of the devices. The die wear is different. Thus the two different terms because of the higher and lower profiles. Hope this helps. If not, ask another question.
