Thought this would be a fun forum game/activity:

If You Could Convert Your Posts To Dollars, What Would You Buy? Can convert only posts made up until 10:00 PM (U.S. Eastern Time) tonight (So no post count padding)

Exchange Rate: 1 post = $1. Must be numismatic or closely related. Please post your current post count in the thread.

For example before this post I had 3352 posts and I would purchase a nice 1798 or 1799 early dollar in high VF for my type set. I've been drooling over early dollars for years now but they are always outside of what my budget can afford. If I came into a windfall I'd seriously consider adding one.

Interesting dream, if only! LOL! I think I would go after the unobtainium of my small US cents, the super keys of 1877/1909s/1909svdb think I could get all nice EF examples for those then with whats left, finish the Shield nickels with all the varieties.

Definitely 1916-D merc so I could actually have a chance at completing that set. If enough $ left over then also a nice slabbed Trade dollar.

If the dollars were not already spent/allocated and basically free, I was recently looking at a NGC AU Details 1856 Flying Eagle cent.

If I had to blow it all without any deep thinking, I would buy a $20 St Gaudens, a 2 1/2 Gold Indian and a $3.00 Indian Princess on a budget of $5915. I think I could get some very nice ones for that.
I have a daily average of 1.68 posts.
If I would have put $1.68 away each day instead of posting, I could have done this.

I would purchase 13 rolls of halves from my bank and tip the teller $8.00 and a wink. Providing the teller is female

I would buy a couple of the Educational Series US banknotes. They aren't cheap and even with a couple of thousand posts I couldn't afford perfect examples but these are beautiful and rare notes, in much demand and I can't see them ever losing their value.

I'd buy a Dutch 3 Gulden coin. They're at least 750 euro in VF+, so I'll need my $1000+ dollar to invest in a nice one (given how weak the dollar is nowadays compared to the Euro).

... a nice 1878CC Morgan... instead of the mid-grade one I'll be getting this next month to finish out my 1878's. I'm trying to buy at least 1 Morgan a month until I build the set.

An ancient gold coin, in a different culture to one I already have.

An Octadrachm of Egypt would be nice.

Well, as a child with no reliable income, it would be nice to have the cash flow of $3.77 a day.

Finish my 1934 date set with a 65+ P Peace, a nice 58 S Peace, a 1934 S Walker in 65. Then complete my medium Walker set with a 67 1937 and 1939.

I'd be working on my type collection after that.
Rest in Peace
