Hello All,

I bought this coin in a lot from a auction recently. I only have no clue which emperor this should be. The coin does weight 14,73 grams. Obverse standing peron. I can read (N) (E) omega sign. Reverse head N E?

It is an assarion sized bronze coin of Augustus (27BC-14AD).
Can't quite make up my mind if it is Roman Imperial, or Roman colonial, but leaning to colonial.

Certainly looks like Augustus
The weight is a bit heavy for a copper As and the color too yellow.
The flan also seems to be somewhat larger than the dies
I am thinking it may be a provincial "dupondius" from Spain.
Perhaps Carthago Nova
