If you spend the money on a Whitman Classic Album you would find you then need two more coin. There is a spot in it for the 42D/41 as well as the 42/41 as well as the 45 Micro S. One of the nicer things about a Whitman Album is unlike the Dansco ones, no blank spaces at the end.

Nice start on a really great set. I have a set of Mercury dimes, but now I am just cherry picking since I recently got VF 1921, 26-S and 1921-D. I think that dime is one where if you spent the cash on a VF+ 1916-D it would be worth it in a few years (decades). It depends on how much time you can wait? You see how well the commemorative gold Mercury dime sold? The other two SLQ and LWH are still not sold out as far as I know. People like that dime.

I like the look of Dansco folders, but also admire the blue of the Whitmans.
Very nice looking set.

Nice going Fishy! We're both about the same, 'cept you have in an album. Like thos old style whitman's. That will be next purchase I think. What I've taken to do with the Whitmans is a "make yer own" Book. Get blank pages in a binder. A nice labelmaker to letter it, takes care of those pesky unobtainium coin holes. Have done that with my small cents (1857-1958)+(1959-Pres w/proofs). Those I use the Whitman # packs. Nickels start with Shield through 'V"s and Buffs. Been wanting to combine all Mercs and Roosies but that may be too thick.

Quote: I see what you mean just carl- Don't know why Dansxo can't figure out how many coins it takes to complete a set. So many of their Albums ares like that with empty slots at the end. Really looks dumb. Sort of makes for an incomplete set. Ever notice with Mercury dimes when you spend a lot of time making sure all the Obverses line up, then turn the page and about half of the reverses are all tilted. Possibly one of the worst coins for rotated reverses.
