Great find! A rather odd thing that happened, strange to show up in a roll. Were there other goodies in this batch you searched?

I was thinking the same thing as Crazyb0. That guy has been hiding somewhere the past 69 years. It would be intriguing to know where he broke-out from. Nice find Mark!

I find that fairly often. You find something nice, not normally found and some others show up... Swear it's the idiot relatives (like mine) who just dump the coin collections for the cash face value. Yesterday was a post about two consecutive numbered 1950C $10 Star notes being picked up from a local bank, THAT don't happen in the wild, EVER! Even as much instructions I may leave in notes and documents, I can't trust my family to read them, they just want the cash...r-eye-ch NOW!

I would rather give my collection to some stranger on the street, before giving it to some ungrateful relative! I guess all our hopes are that our collections end up in the hands of another collector or someone who appreciates the value and hard work put into it. I don't know, I would say the % is probably low that a collection stays intact and remains in a family from generation to generation.
