This guy is selling a binder odd 1909 to 1958 cents so I asked for a pic of the first few pages so he sent them and to my surprise when I looked at the 4th page this was staring at me I know it's a long shot but I will be going on the morning after work to check out the 1943 S of its magnetic if the 3 is correct not a modified 8 if the S looks right and for a strong strike and the weight. Anything else I should be looking for our at? It has 2 43 s's on both sides of it I know it's a long shot I cropped the pic to the two top rows they are blurry but can see the dates on the flips

They have made thousands, if not millions of fake 1943 "copper" cents, so I agree with you that it is a super loooong shot for it to be genuine.
Rest in Peace

It's a long shot but you never know. It sounds like you know what to look for.

It could have been plated decades ago so if you have the time to read up on how to spot that...it might help.

Bring a scale and know the weight of an empty 2X2 with three staples.

Good luck.
Rest in Peace

Assume your referring to the 43-S being a copper cent , It's highly unlikely ,but go ahead and check it out .

I would bring a magnet, loupe and scale. As Buddy suggested, bring an empty 2x2 with three staples so you can tare your scale for the coin weight only. Maybe gloves too, if they will allow you to remove it from the old 2x2 for inspection.

Good luck!
