If these photos are from an auction then I suggest they hire a (better) photographer. Parts are missing, parts are blurry. And it seems there's too much flash used, which gives the coin a cleaned color.
Anyway, if we assume there's a normal coin under there, then I think it'd go for MS-64. I see some toning but I can't see nor say if it's natural or not.

MS64 details, dipped and retoning. It looks very chalky with no distinct luster. Better photos might lead me to a different opinion.

My thoughts are cleaned, possibly even polished, low AU at best, since you say this is from an auction company, I think they are trying to hide some of the problems on this coin. 1879 come fairly easy in very high grades, this one is not. I'd pass unless I could see this coin in person.

It sure does not have the frosty look MS65 coins have, nor does it look like a high class MS64. It is a good coin and I see no details except it has no luster at all. This is a big part of eye appeal for a common Morgan IMO. It looks dull and yet it seems perfect in most details. I don't see any big or little flaws. If this was a 1879CC I would jump on it if the price was right.

Thanks everyone. I contacted the gentleman I purchased this coin from and he said he purchased a nearly complete set of Morgans in a littleton album. He believes that they have been in the album "for a long time". This doesn't mean they were never dipped of course. I know that part of the problem is in the white balance of the photos themselves. The focus is also VERY soft which softens the detail of the coin. Parts of the coin are actually completely out of focus. I played with the white balance on the obverse. sadly I can't take a photo that is out of focus and bring it into focus but I think you can see more luster on the coin after fixing the white balance to a more natural color for the coin. Both the obv and rev seem to have a film of tarnish on them. I know humidity can cause this to happen on silver. It doesn't look to me like the film left by silver being left in dip for to long.  I got this coin at a low price either way so I'm quite happy. The same seller has a 79-O from the same littleton album I think I will be adding to my collection.
