Lightly struck on lower reverse and corresponding upper obverse, down to bust area. Otherwise it pops for me.

au53-55. looks to have remaining luster.

not my favorite toning. I prefer colorful to dark. at this stage, this coin is only getting darker over time.

AU55 or so on very dark toned surfaces. Very nice coin indeed.

Agree to a limited extent ... the best of circulation cameo coins IMHO have a much sharper contrast between the portraits and fields.

I should (and will someday) show my VG 1877-CC Liberty Seated Half with circulation cameo.

That's more like it! That's a dark pic. When you put that under light you should see red, blue and yellow overtones especially on the reverse. The spots will compliment the toning. Make sure you have return privileges but that coin looks great based on poor pics. au-50.

Thanks for all the opinions! I managed to purchase this coin. Will post some pics in hand when I can. From the pics you can see slight toning reds (like Mike F mentioned). Done with the Half dollar portion of the 7070 finally. Time to upgrade my Standing Liberty quarters ...

Are there pinholes or porosity on Liberty's legs? If these pics were taken in low light conditions then the eye appeal might be pretty good. If there's already a lot of light on the coin then it will be black.

Thanks Mike! Will keep this posted soon. Youve helped me a bunch as it is so no worries at all! They are a tough type to grade. Your example is absolutely phenomenal so tough to find them with color. I can only hope to find an slq as nice as yours!
