It would really help if you would orient the bills correctly, right side up, and put some white paper behind each page so we are not distracted by the other bills.
From what I can see, all the notes are common ones that would retail for $1-2. The UK 1 pound is still redeemable in the UK. Possibly some are better, but I would need better pictures.

to the Forum! On the second page I can see a Swiss 100 Franc note of the seventh series. That's a high denomination note and can still be exchanged at Swiss banks for face value (around $100) until 2020: https://www.snb.ch/en/iabout/cash/h...ory_overviewThere are two earlier Swiss notes on the first page, but these have been demonetised now and have no monetary value, although they may be worth a little to collectors. I can see an Isaac Newton type English £1 note on the first page, and Hollom signature 10 shilling and £1 notes further on. These can all still be exchanged at the Bank of England, although the Hollom notes might be worth $5 - $10 to a collector. The page with the 10 shilling note has a West German 10 Mark note of circa 1960-77, which can still be exchanged in German banks for about 5 euros. On the second page is a French 100 Franc note from the 1960s or 1970s - these have been demonetised and now sell for less than the original face value.

It is a nice collection of notes around 150 notes. It does not look country or theme specific. Some of the them are definitely worth more than $2 dollars. Pick catalog prices can be way off in most cases. If you want to see the price of recent notes check ebay. I would estimate that the retail value would be around $450-$500. I don't think anyone would do a free appraisal in the GTA. Especially on world notes and coins because there is no easy way to determine value. It really depends what you want to do with the collection. If you are looking to sell then go through ebay or an auction house. An auction house will appraise and sell.

I don't mind paying someone for an appraisal. In the end I intend to sell them all. Do you know of a good auction house in the GTA that is honest?
In the end I am just hoping for an honest value. Thanks T

From the photos presented, I'm not looking at much over $500. $750 would be a reach. There is not enough value there to warrant the cost of an appraisal. I recommend you go online to Realbanknotes.com and register there, then use their database of banknotes to identify and value your collection. The Bermuda note, you should sell that yourself on ebay. It appears to be in VF condition. There are a couple of Scottish notes that may have some value, but not great. The remainder appears to be worth $5 apiece at the most. You can either sell that locally as a collection or put it on ebay, your choice.

Thanks appreciate the reply. The issue I have is they I also have about 50 pages of coins that may or may not have value. They are to small to post in mass.
Thanks T

If there is a coin shop in your locale, take them in and have them look it over, they'll let you know if you've got something of value. You may find a couple of sleepers in there.
Forgot to mention your Swiss 100 Franc note, that's another good one.

It's completely understandable if/that you don't, but I hope you decide to keep these and get into the hobby! Someone obviously put a lot of time, effort(, and money) into it and it would be the ultimate joy for the former owner if you were to continue their pursuit. Otherwise, as advised above, take the one or two high-value notes and sell them, then dispose of the collection to a dealer. It's not worth your time to piece it out.
