I am not a great grader but I am impressed with that coin. I was gloating because I own a 1948 EF40 ICCS graded fifty cent piece. This coin you are displaying is way out of my league (and budget)!

Great looking coin. Wish mine looked that good.
Your Dad has a great eye when purchasing coins.

FYI-
That 1948 is the Narrow Date 4/4 variety.

I'm at 62.... I think it's too choppy on the effigy for a 63 or higher
