This 1847 Liberty Seated dime looked decent for its age to me, and the old white ANACS holder was a bonus, so I picked it up. Seller's photos, cropped, since I don't have it in hand yet, but how would you grade it? As an aside, seller had this coin listed as a Half Dime.

I'd give it VG-8.

Yeah I'm in the VG-8 boat too. It looks pretty textbook for that grade. This looks like a nice addition though. It's nice and original and 47 is a not so common date. Nice pickup.

VG8, unusual/nice toning for that much wear. I'll say cleaned, but not surprised if ANACS gave it a straight grade. Type coins get passes on cleanings all the time.

Looks like a solid and honest VG-8. Not seeing the evidence of cleaning. Good coin!

Yeah, I'm probably wrong about the cleaning, just amazes me that a worn coin can still tone like that. Very nice.

ANACS said G6. Got it in hand today, it is more colorful than the photos, but not by a large amount. Also found out the reverse is rotated about 10 degrees C/W. I'll take new photos tonight or tomorrow.

Looks like the reverse won the day for this grader, but it could have gone either way.

It looks like a nice coin for G06. One of those VG7 type pieces that appears better than a Choice Good.
