Seems like the cent has been around, but a close look at liberty and under the chin has made me wonder if its DD or MD? Thanks in advanced!

Looks like Die Deterioration Doubling. But the chin deal?

Flat and shelf-like = MD.

If it were Die Deterioration, it would be rounded a bit. But because it is flat and all show the same color, it is Machine Doubling because the machine flattened that area. Buddy got it correct.

Agreed , MD'ing but an excellent example. There are times when a common anomaly can become an uncommon example. This may be a good example to keep on hand for reference.
