Straight G vs. Flared G. I believe I have one of each. Were both of these minted on 69-D's? Significant or common?  My track record would indicate if I have it, it's common.  *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. *** |

I ran across 1964 Flared-G, but don't recall seeing 1969. But than again, I'm not an expert on Kennedy halves.  |

A side by side on both would make it easier to see. Looks like I'm out of the ability to do this now. I can only make suggestions now. Computer issues......

I am not a Kennedy specialist so would need some close ups of the obverse and reverse of the FLARED coin. The varieties listed that I see on varietyvista are MDO-001, DDR-013, and DDR-001. I may have missed one, that page did get a little busy and I was looking this on my phone! Using those 3 varieties will give you an idea of where to take the photos of. So for me I need some better shots of the coin before I could assist further. Of course, ideally we get a response from someone that knows Kennedy's pretty well  Edited by scopru
