I would add to the list the German Neu Guinea coins with the Bird of Paradise design.

I could never afford the 5 Mark, but hope to someday add a 1/2 Mark or 1 Mark example to my collection.

It depends ... US coins: Standing Liberty quarter and Peace dollar.
Bullion - Mexico Libertad (at least obverse). Or ASE as a whole.
Europe: too much really. This one is at least in my top 5
