Quarter has no visible date, it doesn't look worn. The otherside has barely visible print...it also seems to be an uneven thickness...it was with early Washington quarters when noticed....can anybody give me some info on this?

Images would be a great help. Is the area where the date should be raised above the rim?

That weight suggests possibly it was a clad quarter. Looks like the date and part of the back were worn away, based on its appearance and its reduced weight.

Is the cladding missing on the rear? The weak strike may have been caused by a missing cladding area? (If the reverse is really that color that the image shows)

Yes, the back doesn't have the clad. The front does but it is not visible from the rim. It just looks Cooper. The head is very thick in places..It is thin in two spots.

Yes it is missing. It is not visible from the rim on either side. It looks solid copper. Washington's head is really thick in some areas also. Something looks odd about the back, but it is hard to really tell because of the way it looks like clad is melting off...

What is the weight? If it is under weight, then it maybe missing a cladding or something else may of happened to it. On the plus side, it does appear the devices on the obverse are weak.
