64bn. what a beauty. some concern because there does not appear to be much luster. there is a light scratch from the bust of liberty to the 2 in the date. great coin

I go with 63BN ..... not too excited about the obverse and reverse spots but a nice coin. Looks like maybe a LDS with the stretched stars.

My notes: Cohen C-1 (the only die pair used for the 1829-dated issues); this is a late die state with significant trails, heavy flow, polishing and recutting; most dentition is weak or simply gone, especially on the reverse, which is rotated about 15-20 degrees CCW. Breen die state V; Manley die state 2.0 with the spikes no longer present above O and C on the reverse, and the upper part of the E in UNITED broken in half. Possibly some light rust on the dies. Weakness in hair behind the bust and above ERT due to die erosion; the strike is solid otherwise. Above-average eye appeal with very attractive color. My TPG Grade: MS63BN. Mostly free of distracting marks, but the luster is somewhat dull. My EAC grade: 55/45, lots of carbon spotting on the obverse/reverse and nicks/marks below point of bust, impaired luster but good color with traces of red.

I'd say MS-63BN, very attractive. That light scratch near the date looks like it's on the holder.

MS-60. The luster is really dull. The ebay one is an overgraded AU.
