I'm not sure if this Standing Liberty quarter is a 'full head strike', since I don't know where the line is... Image: SLQ.jpg72.16 KB also, give it a grade? I'll take better pictures if necessary, but I dunno how much better I can get than this

Thanks guys....
I also finally tried to get better pictures of that nice $5 gold I want to sell (it's heavily undergraded imo), but the obverse pic turned out blurry. the reverse is nice though

According to the PCGS grading guide, FH status for type II SLQs requires three sprigs and the ear hole to be visible, plus the hairline edge from the forehead down the side of the head and all the way to the back of the neck must be complete. From the picture provided, I have absolutely no idea if it meets the criteria. Still, a very beautiful coin!

Quote: According to the PCGS grading guide, FH status for type II SLQs This appears to be a Type I SLQ so are the requirements the same as the Type II?

Ken's right, this is a type 1 coin. The FH criteria have to be different since this design has no visible ear hole and no sprigs in the hair. I think the requirement for a clear line between the hair and Liberty's face becomes the main requirement. ShadowCreator's coin does make the cut, IMO.

Since this would grade upwards of MS-63 I would think it falls into the category of FH...the only way to find out is to submit for TPG...good luck!
