 Ally_marie  Be patient, there are some members that are extremely knowledgable in paper money and banknotes. I'm sure they will chime in soon and be able to answer any questions that you may have on your note

Welcome to CCF .
I agree with John. The overall condition, folds, splits and stains holds it back from any significant premium over face value. Too bad it wasn't pulled from circulation earlier in its life.

 I would still put it in a sleeve and with my other raw paper.

If you found this in circulation I would still keep it not the greatest condition but it has a lot of character and is a part of Americas history

There is no harm in keeping it for a while. At any time you can simply spend it for face value, which is what it cost you.

Personally, I'd have been jumping around if I received THAT in change... but that is just me. I would definitely keep that one despite the shape!

Yeah, I'd probably be tempted to keep it as well. No harm at ten bucks.
(But don't get happy saving weak notes... their combined value adds up quickly.)
