I am wondering if anyone has info on this token that I picked up. I bought it under the assumption it is a R6. I only saw a couple from google searching so it must be fairly rare. Still trying to figure out how I spent $100 on a token I know nothing about lol

Anyway I thought the flying eagle was cool and it will look good next to my feuchtwanger

@machine20, looks to be a nice pick-up. According to my '97 Rulau, it can be attributed as 300D-1a. The rarity is listed as R6.

That is a rare CWT and you actually got it for a very good price. My buddy who collects Michigan paid over $300 for a 58 at a Chicago show and was thrilled to get it.

Very nice Eaton Rapids token. The most current (2014) store card reference, the 3d Edition of the Fuld Store Cards, still shows your MI300D-1a as a R-6. The die pair is 26120/1168. Attributed to the William K. Lanphear shop in Cincinnati. Phillip Leonard andIsaac N. Crane operated a general store in 1863.

Considering that this CWT was purchased as a companion piece for a Feuchtwanger token, I assume that our OP has a weakness for eagles on tokens. There are a number of CWT's that boast eagles, and this theme would make an appealing mini collection. Happy hunting!
