It's MD...ya, HUH? well, it is. it is "shelf-like" on the appearance, just isn't rounded enough, but dang! sure do look like one. See how it mimics EXACTLY the same shape, only moved in a SE direction? How is it possible? The MM has been hand-punched deeper into the die than the hubbed elements. The bouncing at strike gets caught on the high points when coming back down. If you look closely at the left side of 9 leg, see the angled cut of MD?
