After countless hours of sorting coins, I was about to start on my quarters. I went to the safe and low and behold, another coffee can of wheaties...Crap I was so looking forward to seeing a different coin. So I sorted out the pennies, by decade then by year. Just finished sorting the 1940's and boy was I mad, not a single 1943 penny.. "What the heck is going on" I said to myself, "not a single 1943 penny" as I was getting madder and madder ..THEN it dawned on me, No copper pennies in 1943, all my steel pennies are kept in a separate bag. Then I called myself a stupid dummy poopy head for getting all worked up...... LOL Maybe I need to take a break from looking at coins.

Quote: Maybe I need to take a break from looking at coins. Yep good idea. Take a nice break and then come back refreshed. The coins will all still be there when you do.

Start all over using a magnet. Might find a 42 or 45 or who knows what in Steel.

We all have bad days. Now, where did you put that bag of steelies? I can't tell you how many times I put something in a 'safe place' and completely forgot where that place is.
