Probably not enough here to qualify as either a true variety or an error, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Note how the L is somewhat "smooshed" up against the rim.

On the reverse, the crossbar of the T exhibits a "tail" of sorts - this being due to a die chip, perhaps?

I see some evidence of a late die state -- which explains the position of the L. Never saw a T like that. Very odd -- and interesting.

The coin is in a Late Die State, which is why the devices are mushy and worn. Very common in the 1950's since the U.S. Mint would overuse the dies beyond normal die retirement. Die Cracks, Die Chips, and Die Breaks were very common for that year as well. No added value here. Still a very nice Wheat cent in a high grade.

Good eyes. I don't think I would have caught that chip.

Good eye LC! I'm always looking at the obverse on these and would probably have missed that sagging crossbar and yeah, this is one I've never seen before now.

Just a well placed die chip - but worth saving!

Interesting "droopy T" variety.

He's making a right turn......

Die chip. Seems unusual to happen in this die state. But probably struck a lot of them until they retired the die. Looks like late MDS die at this point.
