Your pictures aren't very clear, from what I can see it looks like Linear Plating Bubbles.

Agree that pics are not good. Will post better images when my lighting is a little better. Linear plating bubbles are a good possibility.

Yes that was my first thought when I saw your coin.

Die crack or gas bubble, still nice going rim to rim.
Rest in Peace

The plating bubble strip is more likely because of the uneven horizontal pattern as it passes over design elements.

Majority rules. Going with linear plating bubbles on flip. Had a feeling that's what it was but was hoping to persuade it was a die crack.

Can't fool you guys.

Try pressing down on the area east of the column 12. See if it flattens. If so then it is a linear plating bubble. If not, then a closer shot might show us, if it is something else?

Searching for a tooth pick...Will post results...and closer images if the area does not flatten out.

I rubbed a toothpick over the entire area and didn't seem to change things much. I know it's not a big deal but curious as to what it is exactly. Maybe a lamination, plating issue..... Attached closer images of the after rub down.

Looks like it was struck through a piece of debris foil from another coin that was damaged. Note the last image of the 'A'. You can see where it is one the rim. and there is an edge across the coin. It doesn't look like a die crack. Planchet error. If my theory is correct, any peeling surface should have plating under it. If I'm incorrect, then you will see gray there. First time I've seen this before. Saving images for my files.

Thank you Coop. I see what your talking about on the rim, also some residual on the column. Your explanation makes perfect sense (as usual).
